Which is often a time when you have had a bad experience with a seller. They will actually block you from writing a review in some instances, like if a refund has been issued. The ratings are not accurate at all! Beware of bad sellers! Contacted Reverb and I was told that any refund will have to take place after the seller got the mic back, so I waited for another 30 days (that’s the period when Royal Mail returns it to the sender) and asked for the money again and NO ANSWER! So now I reached out Reverb (again) for help and was told that since I payed using PayPal that I should deal that with them, so I went to PayPal and filed a complaint and there’s a 6 MONTH PERIOD for the seller to respond! Can you imagine that? Everyone is just washing their hands and meanwhile I don’t have either the mike or my money back! So be advised against this company (ProMusic Tools) that didn’t even had the courtesy of replying to my messages and also the Reverb site that really takes NO RESPONSIBILITY for any sell being made under their brand! Long story short: got an email from Royal Mail asking me to pay for over £100 in taxes in other to deliver it to me, so I contacted the seller “ProMusic Tools” again and this time there’s no response. So I went for it and nothing came up so I bought it and waited for the long 20 days for it to arrive (if you’re used to “next day delivery” that’s quite long). So the company is in Germany and the price for the mic was convenient but I asked beforehand if there will be any extra fees (import taxes and so) and was informed that if there were any they would apear wha I was to conclude the purchase. Beware dear fellows! I recently tried to buy a microphone from this company trough Reverb (and considering the ‘size’ of the app I was under the impression that I was protected). So I had a very unpleasant experience buying in Reverb recently and already posted the story below about the company that was making the sale but since customer support of Reverb is involved I think its also worth sharing that with you as well. They lie and now even no further reply in neither email and live chat! Would cancel the Reverb account after I have gotten my money back!!! Now in May and nothing comes back to any or my accounts (Paypal, Linked bank account nor filed credit card). Besides, every time their live chat customer service persons told me that the refund will be credited into my Paypal account next month (I refunded the buyer via Paypal) since March. I will try to find a way to file a formal complaint to relevant institute in US. I am not an American and I am not sure if this is legal. That means if you don't sell stuff via them anymore your money will be trapped forever.
Reverb just pay me the refund of seller's fee "in their bill", which you can only use that credit when you sell stuff via them next time. The guitar was damaged during the shipment, hence I have to refund the buyer. I sold a guitar in Reverb in February 2022.
